Hardware is available for hearing aid and general purpose measurements using the sound card in a PC. A DC to AC converter is available to enable the sound card in a computer to read and log AC or DC voltages over short or long periods.

Some files are very large. It is recommended that you first download and install Acoustimed’s Free Download Manager. Once installed, future downloads will be 2 to 5 times faster and if the download is interrupted it will resume when the connection is re-established – even if the computer has been switched off.
The program works in the background but if you want to see the progress of a download you can double-click on the blue icon in the tray at the right of the Windows task bar at the bottom of the screen. You can set the Download Manager to close the connection and/or switch off the computer when the download is complete.

CalcPad is as simple or as sophisticated as you want it to be. The calculator interprets Financial, Engineering and Scientific expressions typed as they would normally be written. “Programs” can be saved as text with named variables.
